Environmental protection with berlin trails

Who doesn’t know the situation – should I take the train or the plane for a short trip to Berlin? Do I want to spend 8hrs and more or only 2hrs travelling? Most people choose the plane which is mostly also the cheapest option.

For about 5 years now, travellers have the option to  take over responsibility for the emissions their flights cause by paying a voluntary fee to projects like atmosfair. Atmosfair allows air travellers to calculate the quantity of greenhouse gases caused by their flights and how much it costs to save these emissions elsewhere by investing in climate protection projects. With the donation atmosfair realizes solar, hydropower, biomass, or energy-efficiency projects which save the amount of greenhouse gases your flight has emitted before.

We want to set an example and do something against the constant growing environmental problems.
